Our Story

Our founder, Michael Petersen, used to train in this very space, coached by our very own Mark Razon in the early years of his athletic career. Michael found his passion for movement through the sport that embodies efficient movement, track and field. He saw firsthand how dedicating himself to sport not only changed his body but even more so, his mind.

Track and Field trains you to be methodical and detail-oriented. Every aspect of form can be broken down into repeatable components: position, timing, foot placement, and breath. Repetition makes patterns clear, and that clarity forces attention to small, actionable elements that add up to consistent performance.

Athletes also develop a habit of continuous improvement. Video review, drills, and targeted feedback expose weaknesses, and then you iterate: tweak technique, adjust load, and refine positioning. This mindset transfers outside the weight room, habits, and goals are treated like drills to be practiced, measured, and optimized until each part performs better. The result is a disciplined, analytical approach to progress, where incremental changes compound into meaningful gains.

After countless hours honing his craft and training under seasoned coaches, he set out to build a different kind of gym: one that blends the energy of youth sport development with thoughtful, evidence‑based adult training.

From day one, the mission was simple: help people move better, play longer, and live more fully. We teach foundational movement skills that translate to everyday life: strength, balance, mobility, and coordination—while also offering progressive athletic training for young athletes aiming to compete at higher levels.
